Custom Saxophone Repair Work

New Saxophone Pro Upgrade
No Manufacturer puts the effort into hand finishing they should. We find that by addressing the toneholes and mechanism slop right at the begining gives a long term financial and playing benefit. The pads begin and settle into a perfect setup right from the begining and continue to as the pads age and become less forgiving. Without this work the will need changing alot sooner.

Structural Work
We speciaise in taking care of any background structural work as the begining point of all work. This ensures that all work we do is built to last. These include straightness of the body, bell alignment, dentwork, and tonehole repair. Without these addressed new pads and adjustments will only make a short term difference.

Neck Tenon Replacements
Replacing the neck tenon, machined to exact (original) dimension, enables a perfect seal. With plenty of meat on the tenon, it restores stability and strength to this wear-spot and makes all the difference in the response and playability of the sax. Some situations require both tenon and reciever, in others just the tenon delivers a good fit. Read more

Tuning and Tonal Key Height Adjustments
Key heights and relationships have a massive effect on the sound and pitch of your instrument. During any job we give attention to the heights of the pad surface from the tone hole. We finish with a thourough play test of the instrument. This can be a personal setting to some extent and we are happy to sit with you a while to make sure these heights and the spring action is perfectly set for you.
