Latest Padding Technologies and Installation Techniques

We use the latest pads and padding techniqes. Quite a departure from the traditional felt pads, these pads allow a perfect seal and a beautiful snap to the pads as they are closed no matter how much moisture is on the pads. This results in both a more modern sound to the instrument and gives a more responsive instrumental experience to the musician. Read about Valentino pads here.

Perfect Seal

Its hard to argue with Absolutes. By the time you have had your piccolo cleaned, the wood conditioned, crackes and airleaks sealed properly, and a new set of pads that cover perfectly, both joints will achieve a zero reading on our leak testing machine. While this can seem a bit geeky it is a seal to this perfection that results in a piccolo that plays amazingly and responds to the lightest touch of the musician.
